The Via Ferrata in the Sierra de Gracia in Archidona (Málaga) is located half an hour from Málaga and one hour from Granada.

This via ferrata has no problematic areas or significant overhangs. At the end of the route, there is a TIBETAN BRIDGE of 25-30 meters in length. The total elevation gain is approximately 100 meters.

From this Via Ferrata, you can observe various panoramic views, such as the old town of Archidona, the Peñón de los Enamorados, and the Vega Antequerana. This Via Ferrata ends at the Hermitage of the Virgen de Gracia from the 9th and 10th centuries of Arab origin, later Christianized, located at the top of Cerro de Gracia. It is considered a Cultural Heritage site, and remains of the old Arab village that once stood next to it can also be seen.



The via ferratas in Málaga, and especially the Archidona Via Ferrata, are a route that includes both vertical and horizontal sections, equipped with various materials such as pegs, rungs, holds, handrails, chains, hanging bridges, or zip lines, allowing safe access to areas that are difficult for hikers or those not accustomed to climbing.

A brief explanation of the different sections of a via ferrata, types of geological accidents, or artificial progression methods:

REQUIREMENTS

This sport is suitable for groups of approximately 4 to 10 people, from 14 years old. Depending on the age and physical condition of each person, a specific type of via ferrata will be recommended. You will always be accompanied by a specialized guide who will assist you throughout the activity. We also provide the necessary equipment (Helmet, full harness, energy absorber, and civil liability insurance).

METHOD OF PAYMENT

50% deposit required when selecting the date and time. The remaining payment is due upon arrival at the activity or two days in advance.
