Activity description
Rappel is a descent system in rope carried out in vertical surfaces. It is used in places where another kind of descent is complicated or dangerous. It is also used in rescuing, both in the natural environment as well as the urban one, as in military operations.
Our professional team from OcioAventura Cerro Gordo considers rappel as an induction of climbing. You will descend natural vertical stretches, protected with a harness and guided by ropes. We always take advantage of our location in the nature, between Málaga, Granada and Córdoba.
Who is this activity aimed at?
Rappel can be practiced by both children and adults. Depending on the age and physical condition of each person, a different kind of rappel will be suggested.
You will be accompanied by a specialized instructor at all time, who will help you in the course of the activity. We will also provide you all the necessary equipment and civil liability insurance.
