When is the reservation effective?
The reservation will be considered effective once the % requested in the budget has been satisfied.
What is the procedure?
It is mandatory that you contact us before making the payment for the reservation to check availability and the total amount due to make the reservation effective.
Proof of Payment in the bank transfer
It is essential to SEND THE PAYMENT PROOF of the bank transfer to the EMAIL: info@ocioaventuracerrogordo.com within the required timeframe, including the following information:

  • FULL NAME USED FOR THE DEPOSIT
  • ID NUMBER (DNI)
  • ADDRESS and ZIP CODE
  • CONTACT MOBILE PHONE NUMBER
  • ACTIVITY TO BE DONE
  • NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS
  • ACTIVITY DATE
  • ACTIVITY TIME

Failure to comply with this clause will relieve the company from any responsibility for issues with the reservation that may arise, and under no circumstances will refunds be made due to this cause.

How do I know that my reservation has been successfully validated?
The company will send the customer a reservation confirmation by email. No reservation will be valid without it.

Reservations made by phone will not be valid, nor will any type of management carried out through this channel.

Can I cancel a reservation once it has been confirmed?
  • Once the reservation is received, our production department begins finalizing all the preparations.
  • If the cancellation occurs due to reasons unrelated to OCIOAVENTURA CERRO GORDO, no refunds will be allowed.
  • If no notice is given at least 3 days in advance that a participant will not attend the activity, the full 100% of the activity cost must be paid.
What does the customer commit to once the reservation is made?
1. The group leader is responsible for ensuring that all participants are informed about the service (schedules, location, difficulty level, personal equipment required for the activity, physical conditions, cancellation fees, and general service conditions, etc.) as outlined in writing on the website, with no possibility of refund or reimbursement on the day of the activity.

2. The responsible customer, upon making the reservation payment, commits to paying the full amount according to the minimum number of participants confirmed at that time. If this is not the case, OCIOAVENTURA CERRO GORDO reserves the right to negotiate a new quote for the contracted activity based on its logistics and characteristics.

The schedules
The customer, from the moment they contract the services, is aware of and agrees to strictly adhere to the following schedules: meeting time indicates the moment when OCIOAVENTURA CERRO GORDO technicians begin the service. In the event that any participant or the entire group is delayed by 10 minutes beyond the scheduled start time, it will be considered a total delay of 40 minutes and a no-show of the participant(s), automatically losing all rights to the service, and the activity will begin without them if the group consists of more participants.

Considering that delays would incur additional costs for equipment, vehicles, and technician fees, OCIOAVENTURA CERRO GORDO reserves the right to apply a surcharge if the customer requests via phone for the monitor to wait in order to carry out the activity.

OCIOAVENTURA CERRO GORDO reserves the right to modify this clause if deemed necessary, such as starting the activity without the entire group of people who contracted the activity.

The schedules listed on the website are approximate, with only those sent to the customers in the “reservation confirmation” being valid.

Reasons for canceling or modifying a reservation
1. OCIOAVENTURA CERRO GORDO reserves the right to modify the schedules, design of the activity, location, or even the date of the activity if natural conditions (rain, landslides, water supply cuts…), technical causes, or the operability of materials (production or transport equipment anomalies) are involved, or if any participant is in a state of intoxication or under the influence of drugs, posing direct risks to themselves or the rest of the group. Such situations would require the technical responsible to reconsider the service design or, in extreme cases, to cancel the service and/or revoke all rights to it. Under no circumstances can the client demand a refund for disagreeing with these technical decisions or hold the company responsible.

2. If the activity is canceled due to FORCE MAJEURE by either the client or the company, a voucher for the amount paid will be provided with a one-year validity period. No refunds will be made for the amount paid. For cancellations due to FORCE MAJEURE within 24 hours of the activity, no refunds or vouchers will be issued.

3. Our technicians will continuously monitor weather forecasts and assess when rain or bad weather conditions make it unfeasible to carry out the activity. If the client decides to cancel the service due to weather or other reasons, they will be charged 100%. No refunds will be made for cancellations due to rain or other weather-related reasons. An alternative Plan B will be offered, such as a change of date or a period within which the client can carry out this or another activity.
For kayak and rafting activities, weather conditions and river status can make the activity unfeasible, and it will be suspended if the technicians deem it necessary. An alternative Plan B will be offered, such as a change of date or activity, with no obligation for the company to make refunds due to weather causes or water releases beyond OCIOAVENTURA CERRO GORDO’s control.

4. In the event that OCIOAVENTURA CERRO GORDO proceeds with the refund of the contracted amount, the company will not cover accommodation, transport, meals, or any other expenses caused by the cancellation.

Clauses
1. OCIOAVENTURA CERRO GORDO reserves the right to modify or extend these contractual conditions if the service is provided by an external supplier.

2. Some of the activities listed here are subject to the conditions of the administrative management entities in which they are located (natural parks, reserves…). If OCIOAVENTURA CERRO GORDO is unable to offer one of its activities due to reasons related to this management scope, an alternative activity of a similar nature will be proposed to the client.

3. These contractual service conditions are mandatory, and the client, from the moment of payment, acknowledges and accepts them.
