ORIENTATION RACES (BEGINNER)
Develop your sense of orientation in the field
OcioAventura Cerro Gordo has created a program with orientation races where you will compete with your teammates while learning to navigate in nature.
We offer a route that will be displayed on a map. We will have placed signs and markers along the entire route to mark the path to follow. From there, the orientation race consists of:
Determine your starting point and the direction you need to take using a compass.- You must complete the route by passing through all the control points we have placed.
- The time taken to reach the finish line will be valued. The fastest wins.
This type of race develops your sense of orientation in the field and helps you understand the importance of the sun’s position for determining the cardinal points.
If you wish, we can include this competition in an activity package for school groups, companies, birthdays, or bachelor/bachelorette parties.

CANCELLATION
– If you do not notify at least 3 days in advance that a participant will not take part in the activity, they will have to pay 100% of the activity cost.

– Gift vouchers are non-refundable. The activity opening dates are not fixed and depend on environmental factors. Check them on the website or call us for more information.
