Activity Description

Bungee jumping provides a unique sensation: throwing yourself into the void with nothing but a rope tying you to the world. It’s undoubtedly an activity that brings us, like no other, close to apparent danger — which, however, is not real, since despite appearances, it is extraordinarily safe.

Bungee jumping lets you live out the highest emotions in the heart of nature. It only takes one moment of decision—right before the jump—the rest is pure adrenaline. The sensation is very intense, although brief, so rather than a sport, it’s an experience suitable for almost everyone.

The jump itself consists of a big swing, secured to the bridge by a harness and a rope. You jump from one side of the bridge, while the rope is anchored to the other.

You’ve got about 18–20 m. of height.

Requirements

You won’t need to be in great shape—just free of health issues that might be affected by the tension of the jump.

It’s no more than that: a jump. You don’t need to know anything special; all you need is the will, courage, and decision to let go of the railing and throw yourself into the void. So the jump is a very personal matter.

The most common jump for beginners is backwards, squatting from the top of the railing or holding on to it until the last moment. On the second jump, most people look for more thrill and choose to jump facing forward, which is more exciting because you see the ground.
