The Rafting consists of descending in an inflatable raft along the course of a whitewater river, today it is the Adventure Sport with the most adrenaline rush in Whitewater. We can encounter various levels with or without rapids in the river, depending on the section you choose and the type of river. It is done in groups with a specialized guide in whitewater who will lead the raft, giving the necessary instructions to the participants sitting on the sides of the raft, holding onto straps on their feet to maintain balance. The activity is done in groups, sharing fun, excitement, laughter, and teamwork.
Before the activity in the Genil River
Before starting, basic instructions are given by the guide on how to handle the raft and how to react to possible difficulties of the river.
Difficulty Level
There are several sections:
Medium-high difficulty: Section Benamejí (El Tejar) – Palenciana (Córdoba)
Low difficulty: Section Cuevas Bajas (Málaga) – Benamejí (El Tejar) (Córdoba)
Low difficulty: Section Cuevas de San Marcos (Málaga)
When can you do Rafting in Granada, Málaga, Córdoba, or Sevilla?
The best time for Rafting is from April to October. Depending on the flow of the Genil River, as it depends on the release of water from the Íznajar and Tranco Reservoirs, which in turn depends on the snowmelt of Sierra Nevada and precipitation.

Estimated duration of the Rafting activity:
Half day. The descent usually lasts around two hours, the full activity is about 4 hours.
What do I need to bring?
Swimsuit, towel, closed water shoes or shoes with a rigid sole, sunscreen, and a change of clothes and shoes for after the activity.
